Associates Member Program

As an Associate Member of the The Resource Center, you are helping to support the growth of our nonprofit community in the Inland Empire.  The Inland Empire is one of the fastest growing population areas in the United States.  New families and individuals bring new social service needs.  Our local nonprofits help to meet those needs.  The Resource Center desires to support these local nonprofit efforts.

By becoming an Associate Member, each agency is helping to support our core operating costs, which helps The Resource Center focus on:

§         Assessing the needs of nonprofit organizations in the Inland Empire

§         Helping support existing groups and networks

§         Identifying resources to strengthen local nonprofits

§         Sharing information with local nonprofit agencies

§         Working to bring more funding and resources into the Inland Empire for nonprofit organizations and for the benefit and health of our local communities.

Any nonprofit organization may join at the sliding scale outlined here.

*Note: Individual Associates do not receive the following:

  • diagnostic consultation
  • training and consulting discounts
  • 2-for-1 discounts

In addition to supporting us, you will receive an array of services for your nonprofit staff, board, and volunteers.  Our members receive:

  • Discounts to our training workshops and forums
  • Access to our skilled consultants who can provide on-site, project specific assistance on a variety of management and program issues, customized to the needs of your organization
  • Information services to keep you in touch with regional, statewide and national news of interest to the nonprofit sector
  • Technical assistance to help resolve your day-to-day management problems that you as a nonprofit face each day.

Access to our Networking Groups which allow nonprofits to build relationships, exchange ideas, and discover hidden connections to build and strengthen partnerships among other nonprofits.

As of March 2007, The Resource Center has become a program of The Volunteer Center of Riverside County.  We believe this partnership will help to better serve local nonprofits.
